Hebron United
Methodist Church is a parish in the North Carolina Annual Conference of the
United Methodist Church. Our church and congregation are dedicated to biblical
preaching and traditional worship as contained in the Bible, The Book of
Discipline and The Hymnal of the United Methodist Church. Sunday morning may
find some musical moments with contemporary songs, or songs with a blue-grass
flavor, or old traditionals. But always with a warm, traditional feel of
worship. The minister may speak from behind the pulpit, or while walking in the
aisle, but the message will always be biblically sound and applicable to today’s
world.
As United Methodist,
we hold beliefs that are best summarized in the Apostle’s Creed as a summary of
Scriptural teaching. We are a positive congregation, an ever-growing company of
faithful people seeking to love God-the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit-and
to love our neighbor. In addition through Sunday school, Disciple Bible Study
and our youth groups we are committed to making disciples for our Lord. There
are many opportunities for service and growth at Hebron.
The parish office
telephone number is (919) 563-3375. You may call the office at any time, and if
you don’t get an immediate answer, please leave a message. Please feel free to
e-mail me as well at
reverend.holliday@hebron-umc.org. I will get back with you as soon as
possible. If you are sick, in the hospital, need counseling, need a visit, want
to get married (not to me, of course, as I am already happily married), please
let me know. Thank you for
visiting our web site.
Still in His
Peace, Pastor Bill
