Hebron United Methodist Women

Hebron United Methodist Women’s unit has approximately 40 members.  Members of the unit support many mission projects such assembly of health kits, school kits that help women and children locally and in the United States and around the world.   The unit meets approximately four times a year, but is made up of two smaller groups that meet more often.  The smaller groups are named Circle #2 and Friendship Circle.  (Circle #1 was dissolved due to an inactive membership.)

Circle #2 meets the third Monday of each month at 12 noon in the church fellowship hall.  No meeting is held in July.  The meeting begins with fellowship over a bag lunch followed by a program, prayer and ending with a business meeting.  Circle #2 sells vanilla flavoring to raise funds to support mission projects.

Friendship Circle meets the third Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m.   The meeting location is announced in the church bulletin.  Bible study is held at each meeting along with fellowship and business meeting.  The Friendship Circle sells pecans at Christmas time to raise funds to support mission projects.

Membership is open to any woman who indicates a desire to belong and to participate in the global mission of the church through United Methodist Women.  Visitors and/or new members are welcome!  For more information contact Margaret Lankford, Unit President at mlankford@mebtel.net or 9l9-563-5121.
